Civilian killed in MILF attack on police detachment

MANILA, Philippines — A civilian was killed in an attack staged by suspected Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) forces on a police detachment in Shariff Kabunsuan Wednesday night. Radio dzRH reported Thursday evening that the armed men attacked the police detachment in the village of Bagong in Barangay Kigang, South Upi town. The report did not identify the civilian who was killed. It said fighting was still continuing in the area as of Thursday afternoon. - GMANews.TV
