Report: NPA rebels burn bus in Davao Oriental

MANILA, Philippines - Suspected New People's Army (NPA) rebels torched a unit of a "Bachelor" bus in Lupon town in Davao Oriental province, a radio report said Saturday night. Bombo Radyo reported that the guerrillas posed as Philippine National Police personnel in flagging down the bus in Banay-banay in Davao Oriental. Upon boarding the bus, the rebels commandeered it and brought it to Lupon town. At Lupon, the rebels allowed passengers to get off, doused gasoline on the bus, then set it on fire. - GMANews.TV
