Work in NCR courts also suspended - SC spokesman

As Typhoon Pedring continued to batter Luzon, the Supreme Court has suspended work in Metro Manila courts. These include the trial courts, the Court of Appeals, the Court of Tax Appeals, the Sandiganbayan, and the Supreme Court itself. SC spokesman and Court Administrator Jose Midas Marquez made the announcement in a text message to reporters Tuesday. "No work in Metro Manila courts today," Marquez said.
