Motorcycle seen near blast site before Glorietta incident
A motorcycle was seen near the blast site minutes before Friday afternoon’s explosion at the Glorietta shopping complex in Makati City, GMA Flash Report said on Saturday. Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director Gen. Avelino Razon said the video footage from a closed circuit television installed at the Ayala Center showed a motorcycle at the vicinity of the explosion site. The blast occurred at a stock room of a Chinese restaurant and three other stores at the ground floor of Glorietta 2, Razon said during Saturday’s briefing at the PNP headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City. The report also said President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo offered a P2 million reward for information that would lead to the perpetrators of the mall incident. “The President has announced that there will be a reward money of P2 million for anybody who could give us information on the suspects in this incident that happened in Makati ," Director Geary Barias, Metro Manila police chief, said. No group has so far admitted the bombing. Authorities have yet to say if the incident was a terrorist attack. Razon said law enforcement agencies from the United States and Australia are now helping the PNP identify the bomb used in the Makati incident. He said police investigators would also be taking the statement of detained Senator Antonio Trillanes IV for accusing military chief General Hermogenes Esperon and National Security Adviser Norberto Gonzales as those responsible for the blast. - Amita Legaspi, GMANews.TV
